MİTAŞ Industry designs and manufactures polygonal or circular poles for outdoor lighting, energy transmission and distribution, telecommunication, aerial cable car, advertising, floodlighting, traffic signaling and flags.

The factory, which operates in Ankara, has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons in its premises spreadind over 38.000 m2 area, of which 12.500 m2 is covered. This factory fabricates products in its automatic plasma, submerged arc welding, bending, plate and pipe laser cutting machines with the best quality and efficiency.

Steel poles are designed in polygonal and circular profile as a single piece up to 12 meters in length and as multiple pieces more than 50 meters in length in line with customer specifications and as per the applicable international standards. Poles are fabricated in cutting, bending and submerged arc welding machines in pole production factories and, delivered as galvanised coated and/or painted as per the customer requirements. Continuous improvements are considered in line with customer satisfaction by prioritizing the developments in respect of aesthetic appearance and easy-to-install features in the design and production of poles. In addition, on-site consultancy and assembly services are offered upon request of customers.

All the production procedures from the stage of input materials to the final products are constantly inspected for compliance with the respective specifications and standards and, all the required tests are carried out to ensure the best quality products. The welding procedures which are significant for the quality of products are carried out by welding operators having certificates issued as per European, Canadian and American welding standards and, tested by means of nondestructive inspections.

MİTAŞ Industry has ISO 9001 quality management system, ISO 14001 environmental management system, OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system, EN ISO 3834 welding and EN 1090 factory production control (CE) certificates for its polygonal and circular pole production.
